"Who are you in the eyes of Love? asks my dear friend, Felicia Murrell, as she gently guides me (yet again) back into Love's embrace. There, in the "both/and" of my own real life - its wounds and wonders, beauty and affliction - I remember again, I am beloved. I often forget. But Felicia's kind voice represents, for me, what a healed conscience can become in full bloom." - Bradley Jersak

Embracing All of You - Our statement of Affirmation
In response to the overwhelming, extravagant love of God, we at Meadowvale Community Church seek to be a community of faith, inclusion and justice.
We believe that every person, and all of creation, has always been loved and affirmed by our Creator.
We lament and reject the colonialist, paternalistic, racist, homophobic and anthropocentric beliefs that have been exemplified throughout the history of Christianity, and the division and harm that has ensued. Moving forward we will walk in a faith characterized by curiosity, humility and respect.
We welcome and affirm all persons of every race, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital standing, ability, economic status, and ethnicity into the full life and ministry of this community of faith, including membership and leadership. We believe celebrating this diversity of gifts enhances our community.
We believe that we have never been separated from our Creator’s love; that Jesus has revealed the inclusive love of God; and that we are led to living out this love through the Spirit dwelling within us. We welcome all who feel called to journey with us. May you feel at home here.
